Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with a dynamic Middle Office team to manage fund positions and cash balances with precision.
  • Provide operational support for trade lifecycle management across a variety of financial products.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in transactions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyze performance metrics and generate insightful reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Manage corporate actions and amendments, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion.
  • Support liquidity management and deal execution processes to optimize financial operations.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial schedules, including leverage facilities and cashflows.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational workflows and systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily reconciliations of cash and positions with prime brokers and custodians.
  • Oversee loan administration tasks, including contract tracking and payment processing.
  • Provide operational support for diverse financial instruments, such as bonds and bank loans.
  • Resolve booking and position discrepancies through collaboration with internal and external teams.
  • Manage corporate actions and amendments, ensuring accurate documentation and execution.
  • Assist with CLO monthly reconciliations and ensure alignment of positions and cash.
  • Perform daily profit and loss reconciliations with fund administrators.
  • Support managed service providers with operational troubleshooting and needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services; 5 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income and bank loan operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook for daily operational tasks.
  • Experience with security master systems and financial platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with Indus Valley Partners, FIS VPM, or Aladdin advantageous.
  • Knowledge of S&P ClearPar and loan platforms beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid schedule with strong organizational skills.
