  • Lead financial strategy and operations for a high-performing Wealth Segment, focusing on annuities and pension risk transfer.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide financial insights and support for product development, mergers, acquisitions, and transformational initiatives.
  • Ensure robust performance management discipline across financial functions and business operations.
  • Drive growth and profitability in institutional and insurance-based solutions through strategic leadership.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to ensure consistent decision-making and effective execution.
  • Develop and lead a team to achieve departmental and corporate goals while cultivating future talent.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Actively participate in strategic and tactical planning, providing financial perspectives to leadership teams.
  • Identify and execute profit improvement tactics with internal and external partners.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings to ensure effective information sharing and alignment.
  • Direct the development of business and financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate business management processes, addressing financial performance variances and recommending solutions.
  • Coordinate actuarial and financial functions, including investment management and capital strategies.
  • Drive end-to-end execution across asset-liability management and product design initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of financial models with organizational goals and critical success factors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA, or FSA are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in financial management within the financial services industry.
  • Strong expertise in annuities, pension risk transfer, and insurance balance sheets.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and influencing executive decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical frameworks to business strategy and financial decisions.
  • Experience with sales models, product pricing, and performance measures.
  • Strong communication skills with expertise in presentations and group facilitation.
