Overview

  • Lead operational performance for multiple orthopedic practice locations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Focus on practice operations, performance improvement, physician support, and scheduling optimization across the region.
  • Collaborate with physicians and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and operational consistency.
  • Analyze operational and financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices across all sites.
  • Support staffing, employee engagement, and practice growth initiatives to enhance overall performance.
  • Oversee scheduling operations and patient access initiatives to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide operational oversight for multiple physician practice locations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Directly support and manage Practice Managers to achieve operational excellence and consistency.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive practice performance.
  • Oversee scheduling operations and patient access initiatives to optimize efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Partner with physicians and senior leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices across all assigned sites.
  • Lead staffing, employee engagement, and practice growth initiatives to enhance team performance.
  • Manage process improvement projects to achieve operational efficiency and organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with a focus on healthcare or business preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-site physician practice operations; 10 years preferred.
  • Orthopedic practice experience strongly preferred, with proven leadership in similar settings.
  • Experience managing Practice Managers and administrative teams effectively to achieve operational goals.
  • Strong expertise in KPI monitoring, reporting, and analytics for operational improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee large physician practice operations and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional physician relationship management skills to foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other practice locations as required.
