Overview

  • Lead operational strategies for multiple orthopedic practice locations, ensuring efficiency and consistency across sites.
  • Collaborate with physicians and senior leadership to drive practice performance and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze operational and financial metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Provide strategic oversight and support for Practice Managers and administrative teams.
  • Focus on scheduling optimization and patient access to enhance service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices across all assigned sites.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational workflows and efficiencies.
  • Support staffing, employee engagement, and practice growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide operational oversight for multiple physician practice locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Directly manage and support Practice Managers to achieve performance targets.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational success.
  • Oversee scheduling operations and patient access initiatives for optimal service delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians and senior leadership on strategic initiatives and practice growth.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices across sites.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and special projects to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with a focus on healthcare or business preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-site physician practice operations; 10 years preferred.
  • Orthopedic practice experience strongly preferred, with proven leadership in similar settings.
  • Strong experience managing Practice Managers and administrative teams.
  • Proficiency in KPI reporting, analytics, and operational performance metrics.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership style and process improvement expertise.
  • Exceptional physician relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other practice locations as required.
