Overview

- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff.

- Support attorneys with document preparation, filing, and scheduling.
- Assist with time entry, expense reports, and billing processes.
- Engage in e-filing and court filing processes as directed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests professionally and courteously.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently.
- Manage conference room scheduling and provide general assistance.
- Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist with document management, scanning, and filing tasks.
- Support attorneys during peak workload periods and absences.
- Monitor deadlines and assist with scheduling and follow-up activities.
- Prepare engagement letters, conflict checks, and administrative forms.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or secretarial support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules.
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
