Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans for children.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to gather data for treatment planning.
• Perform specialized assessments tailored to specific child needs.
• Document therapy sessions and progress reports as required.
• Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants and students.
• Ensure therapy equipment and areas are properly maintained.
• Engage in professional development to enhance skills and licensure.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid New York State Physical Therapy License.
• Experience or training in pediatric physical therapy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy ethics and standards of practice.
• Ability to perform advanced evaluations and assessments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional growth and development.
• Ability to supervise and mentor assistants and students effectively.
