Overview

• Lead financial planning and analysis, delivering strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and compliance functions to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to translate financial data into actionable strategies for growth.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and projections for strategic planning.
• Manage reporting requirements and compliance for financial facilities and lender deliverables.
• Analyze project-level performance to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements and executive presentations in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead financial modeling for new initiatives, M&A activity, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Direct the FP&A function, providing forecasts and strategic insights to leadership.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, aligning departmental plans with corporate objectives.
• Maintain rolling financial models to support planning and reporting.
• Manage detailed cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and lender deliverables.
• Analyze contract profitability and labor productivity to identify performance gaps.
• Prepare financial statements and executive presentations in accordance with GAAP.
• Drive operational performance analysis and develop KPIs linking results to outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of finance leadership experience; 15 years preferred.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and GAAP compliance.
• Strong knowledge of contract-based businesses and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience managing reporting and compliance for financial facilities.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Effective communication skills to present financial strategies to non-financial stakeholders.
• Remote work capability with occasional travel as required.
