Job Description

Overview

  • Support fund accounting and operational processes for a dynamic investment firm specializing in private markets.
  • Collaborate with portfolio companies to monitor performance and manage investment records.
  • Handle investor relations, including data requests, communications, and performance updates.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with fund terms and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage SPV setup, administration, and documentation for investment operations.
  • Execute month-end and quarter-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with fund administrators, legal teams, and service providers.
  • Contribute to the firm's energetic and positive culture, emphasizing team-based success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute fund accounting processes and produce quarterly and annual reports for limited partners.
  • Process capital calls and coordinate investor funding efficiently.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and maintain accurate investment records.
  • Handle LP data requests, due diligence inquiries, and create investor communications.
  • Coordinate fund and SPV audits with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with fund terms, regulatory requirements, and reporting deadlines.
  • Manage SPV setup and ongoing administration, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and service providers to streamline operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 2-7 years of experience in private markets operations, fund accounting, or fund administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis for financial calculations.
  • Understanding of private markets fund structures, waterfalls, and economics.
  • Knowledge of capital call and distribution mechanics, deal execution, and investor reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in financial reporting and calculations.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and working with external service providers.
  • Ability to work on-site in a collaborative and energetic environment.
