Overview

  • Lead full-funnel paid media strategy and activation across diverse channels, ensuring measurable business growth and performance excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance media efficiency and advance modern measurement approaches.
  • Oversee media planning, activation, optimization, and reporting processes, aligning priorities with organizational goals.
  • Drive innovation through test-and-learn initiatives and adoption of new platforms and AdTech capabilities.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert, providing strategic recommendations to leadership on media investment and channel strategies.
  • Manage agency partnerships, ensuring high-quality outputs and measurable impact across segments and channels.
  • Develop and implement paid media standards, best practices, and guardrails guiding planning and activation efforts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the Media Planning & Activation team, setting priorities and quality standards for planning and execution.
  • Own quarterly and annual media and financial planning processes, aligning with Brand Marketing, Analytics, and Finance.
  • Ensure actionable insights through performance management forums, optimization reviews, and reporting processes.
  • Advance measurement frameworks, including incrementality testing and media effectiveness analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enable integrated execution and decision-making across the funnel.
  • Act as senior client lead for paid media agencies, driving accountability for impactful outputs.
  • Stay current on industry changes, evolving strategy and operating standards accordingly.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years managing enterprise-level paid media programs with focus on Paid Search, Programmatic Display, and Paid Social.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, agencies, and large-scale budgets.
  • Expert knowledge of ad tech and analytics platforms, including Google Marketing Platform and Adobe Analytics.
  • Proficiency in incrementality testing, attribution models, and advanced measurement frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Executive-ready communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
