Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct daily operations of the Family Birth Center, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care protocols and clinical guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Lead initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction within maternal and child health services.
- Ensure effective communication between staff, leadership, and external stakeholders to align with organizational objectives.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to support departmental goals and operational needs.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to maintain high levels of competency and morale.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and Master’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience and two years of leadership experience in labor and delivery services.
- Active Registered Nursing License (RN) in California and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Proven track record of success in managing maternal and child health services in mid to large-sized hospitals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
