Overview

  • Lead and manage interior design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop detailed project plans, including technical models and material estimates.
  • Implement space planning and ceiling design layouts to meet project specifications.
  • Negotiate with construction crews and interface with clients to ensure project success.
  • Visit job sites to monitor progress and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Utilize advanced software tools like Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite for project management.
  • Maintain impeccable interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in interior design.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with design teams to create technical models and material estimates.
  • Oversee space planning and ceiling design layouts for diverse projects.
  • Engage with construction crews and clients to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address challenges proactively.
  • Utilize software tools for efficient project management and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design project management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
  • NCIDQ certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional time management, leadership, and attention to detail skills.
  • Familiarity with furniture selection processes is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote tasks.
