Overview

  • Provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations in a hybrid work setting.
  • Engage in diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention to support patient well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to address psychosocial factors affecting health outcomes.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and document progress effectively.
  • Supervise interns and contribute to staff education on mental health practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards in mental health services.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and departmental meetings.
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and adaptability in providing patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions with clear treatment objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide crisis intervention services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Supervise social work interns and provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Educate staff on psychosocial issues and their impact on patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient services and progress.
  • Identify and address child welfare concerns in collaboration with relevant agencies.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure in New York State as LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist.
  • Proven diagnostic and clinical skills, with experience in diverse populations.
  • Ability to supervise interns and participate in required training programs.
  • Proficiency in preparing evaluations, treatment plans, and comprehensive reports.
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and professional standards in mental health services.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred, with additional compensation available.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with flexible scheduling options.
