Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a senior paralegal, overseeing legal processes and discovery operations within the organization.
  • Manage intake, tracking, and resolution of legal documents served on the organization.
  • Lead e-discovery operations, including litigation holds, data collection, and production workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external legal entities to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for legal operations and accountability improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant federal and state rules and privacy laws in all legal activities.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to team members handling legal matters and discovery operations.
  • Support audits and regulatory examinations related to legal processes and discovery functions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Restructure intake workflows to enhance operational efficiency and accountability.
  • Administer e-discovery platforms for litigation holds, data preservation, and production workflows.
  • Coordinate with IT, records management, and external counsel on defensible data collection strategies.
  • Provide oversight and quality control for legal process operations and team activities.
  • Draft and manage correspondence related to legal processes and discovery matters.
  • Develop standardized procedures for legal process intake, tracking, and resolution.
  • Act as the primary liaison for legal matters between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish quality-control standards and review protocols for outgoing responses and productions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in legal process and discovery operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in e-discovery platforms, including Relativity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven legal workflows.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising teams in legal functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in document management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Excel and legal process management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and produce attorney-ready work product.
