Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop cutting-edge electrical systems and embedded software solutions.
  • Engage in the full product lifecycle, from concept development to manufacturing and deployment.
  • Contribute to innovative projects that push boundaries in electrical engineering and embedded systems.
  • Participate in design reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product excellence.
  • Support debugging and troubleshooting efforts for hardware and software systems.
  • Utilize advanced tools and methodologies to enhance project management and source control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain embedded software for Linux systems and microcontrollers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot electronic hardware and embedded software systems to resolve technical challenges.
  • Collaborate on product lifecycle stages, including design, prototype validation, and manufacturing transition.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools for software task tracking, defect management, and version control.
  • Participate in design reviews and testing activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product development and engineering processes.
  • Support customer testing, integration, and design reviews to meet project objectives.
  • Engage in additional duties and support tasks as assigned within the engineering team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in embedded software or electrical engineering environments.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems and familiarity with RTOS concepts.
  • Experience with GIT or other version control systems for collaborative development.
  • Understanding of communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
  • Experience with hardware debugging tools, including schematics and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer testing and integration activities.
