Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain embedded software for Linux systems and microcontrollers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Debug and troubleshoot electronic hardware and embedded software systems to resolve technical challenges.
- Collaborate on product lifecycle stages, including design, prototype validation, and manufacturing transition.
- Utilize industry-standard tools for software task tracking, defect management, and version control.
- Participate in design reviews and testing activities to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for product development and engineering processes.
- Support customer testing, integration, and design reviews to meet project objectives.
- Engage in additional duties and support tasks as assigned within the engineering team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in embedded software or electrical engineering environments.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems and familiarity with RTOS concepts.
- Experience with GIT or other version control systems for collaborative development.
- Understanding of communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Experience with hardware debugging tools, including schematics and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer testing and integration activities.
