Job Description

Overview

  • Lead finance and operations for a family office managing investments and philanthropic foundations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal and CEO to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Oversee consolidated financial reporting across diverse entities and functions.
  • Direct liquidity planning, tax strategy, and foundation compliance.
  • Manage investment operations, including fund administration and performance reporting.
  • Supervise personal affairs management, including property, assets, and recurring costs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external advisors and service providers.
  • Ensure integrity and discretion in all financial and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and oversee consolidated financial strategies across all entities.
  • Direct liquidity and capital planning to meet investment and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and foundation requirements.
  • Supervise disbursements, treasury, and banking operations.
  • Manage investment operations, including capital calls and fund administration.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and fund administrators.
  • Oversee management of personal assets, including properties and vehicles.
  • Lead a team of senior professionals across finance and operations functions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree with extensive experience in finance and operations.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience, preferably 15 years in relevant roles.
  • Proven leadership in multi-entity finance and consolidated reporting.
  • Expertise in partnership structures, capital calls, and fund administration.
  • Strong foundation tax knowledge and experience with 501(c)(3) compliance.
  • CPA certification and Big Four background preferred.
  • Exceptional discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to lead senior professionals while engaging hands-on when necessary.
