Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Regional Director in overseeing behavioral health operations within the assigned region.
  • Provide direct social work services including crisis intervention, counseling, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain resources and records for assigned practices to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve departmental performance and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training for staff and students to foster professional growth.
  • Analyze performance metrics and conduct evaluations to ensure staff effectiveness and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in orientation and onboarding of new team members to integrate them into the organization.
  • Support the Regional Director in executing additional activities as required to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Deliver individual, family, and group counseling services in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Complete psychosocial evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Supervise psychosocial services staff and interns, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate training programs and ensure effective onboarding of new staff members.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to inform decision-making and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards in all practices.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Psychosocial Services on quality assurance initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and information distribution among staff, patients, and students.
  • Support the Regional Director in achieving strategic objectives and operational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field; NYS licensure as a LCSW required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Experience providing advanced clinical supervision to interns and staff.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred for effective communication with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee training and orientation programs for new staff members.
  • Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Flexibility to adapt to hybrid work arrangements and collaborate across multiple sites.
