Overview

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of SOX compliance for the client, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external firms and internal teams to manage SOX processes and reporting requirements effectively.
  • Contribute to IT infrastructure projects, leveraging expertise to enhance systems and processes.
  • Participate in quarterly events, fostering collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic insights and leadership to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Work remotely with occasional travel to Dallas for quarterly events.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of a pioneering organization in the asset management industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement SOX compliance strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external consultants to streamline SOX processes and reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead IT infrastructure initiatives, enhancing system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between departments regarding compliance and IT projects.
  • Participate in organizational events and provide leadership during collaborative activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SOX regulations and IT advancements to inform strategic decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SOX compliance or related roles.
  • Preferred 12 years of experience in compliance, IT infrastructure, or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX regulations and IT infrastructure processes.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to travel quarterly for organizational events.
