Overview
- Lead and manage the financial and operational backbone of a scaling hardware company, ensuring seamless integration of ERP and MRP systems.
- Oversee strategic finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support organizational growth and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement processes.
- Direct external accounting and tax partners to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement scalable solutions for operational challenges, leveraging data-driven insights and analytics.
- Shape pricing strategies for products and services, ensuring alignment with market comparables and unit economics.
- Foster a culture of accountability and transparency across finance and operations functions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage ERP and MRP systems, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and manufacturing processes.
- Execute month-end close, AP/AR, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and revenue recognition tasks.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Collaborate with business development teams to set and defend pricing strategies for deals.
- Manage supply chain operations, vendor terms, and lead times to optimize procurement.
- Supervise external accounting and tax partners, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Develop and implement operational systems to support company scaling and efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights and analytics to drive informed decision-making across departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and operations; 8 years preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems, with experience in implementation and management.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a systems-thinking approach.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Experience in hardware startups or similar industries is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Miami, FL.
