Overview
- Support HR operations and employee relations at a major project site, ensuring consistent application of company policies and processes.
- Collaborate with project leadership and regional HR teams to address workplace concerns and enhance employee engagement.
- Deliver HR-related training and administer general HR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Provide onsite HR support for a workforce of field and subcontractor professionals.
- Assist in performance management, documentation, and corrective action processes.
- Conduct exit and stay interviews to gather feedback and improve the employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR principles, including FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
- Work closely with HR teams to administer onboarding, offboarding, and workforce changes effectively.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Serve as the primary HR liaison for a large-scale project site, supporting a diverse workforce.
- Address HR inquiries and workplace concerns, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations activities, including case tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Assist with investigations related to workplace concerns and policy violations.
- Partner with site leadership to maintain a positive and respectful workplace environment.
- Coordinate engagement, communication, and culture-building initiatives aligned with organizational values.
- Provide administrative support for HR processes, including badging, site access, and workforce changes.
- Collaborate with managers on performance documentation and coaching conversations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of HR experience, with preferred experience of four years.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of employment laws such as FMLA, ADA, and EEO regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
