Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Supervise and review work completed by staff accountants, fostering quality and adherence to standards.
  • Provide strategic accounting and advisory services to clients across various industries.
  • Train, mentor, and develop junior team members, encouraging professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary contact.
  • Stay current on industry developments, tax laws, and accounting standards to provide informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to implement best practices and drive operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, with 4–8 years preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on client service.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools relevant to tax and advisory services.
