Overview

  • Join a dynamic team supporting trade management operations in a leading asset management firm.
  • Contribute to daily trading desk operations, compliance monitoring, and performance reporting.
  • Collaborate across teams to optimize entity structuring and trade allocations.
  • Engage with advanced systems like Bloomberg AIM and Advent Geneva for trade lifecycle management.
  • Support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
  • Prepare detailed analytics and reporting for investment staff and senior management.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.
  • Gain exposure to asset-backed securities and fixed income products in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support ABS desk operations, including investment allocations and compliance monitoring.
  • Review complex deal documents and manage securities throughout their lifecycle.
  • Coordinate asset-based leverage activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT and AI teams to automate processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc reporting for investment staff and senior management.
  • Conduct regular meetings with investment teams to discuss operational initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot cash breaks and process updates for interest shortfalls and remittances.
  • Provide deal expertise to back-office teams and assist in NAV close processes.
  • Assist portfolio managers and investor relations with frequent ad hoc analyses.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in middle office or operations roles, preferably in buy-side institutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg AIM and Advent Geneva.
  • Knowledge of fixed income products and derivatives, including ABS and Repo.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT teams to drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Experience with TradeWeb and AI tools is a plus.
