Overview

  • Provide exceptional nursing care in a cardiology cath lab setting, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Utilize advanced assessment skills to evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health comprehensively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.
  • Administer and monitor procedural interventions, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to relay pertinent information using standardized formats.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in RN-BSN or RN-MSN program.
  • California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification as required by the department.
  • Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience or completion of a nurse residency program.
  • Preferred experience in cardiology or specialty area.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
