Overview
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
- Coordinate daily schedules, team commitments, and task assignments across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and communication.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Engage in design reviews and decision-making processes to support engineering teams.
- Monitor project costs, obtain quotes, and ensure budget compliance.
- Work on smart technology initiatives and innovative solutions within the organization.
- Provide hands-on support in failure analysis, fieldwork, and inventory management tasks.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage 1-2 major projects and several smaller initiatives simultaneously.
- Facilitate one-on-one interactions with team members to ensure task completion and commitment.
- Host online meetings and coordinate remote work activities as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with engineers and other stakeholders to resolve conflicts amicably.
- Ensure project management activities constitute 70% of daily responsibilities.
- Participate in design processes and contribute to operational decision-making.
- Support multidisciplinary engineering efforts across electrical, mechanical, software, and application domains.
- Monitor and report project progress, identifying areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex engineering projects.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN and LIN.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Experience in multidisciplinary projects involving electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with both desk and field responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to flexible work arrangements.
