Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the word processing team, ensuring seamless workflow transitions and high-quality document production.
  • Develop and refine departmental procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance proficiency in document production applications.
  • Coordinate and manage document tracking databases for accurate data entry and retrieval.
  • Provide expert formatting and editing support for legal documents and graphic presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations for PDF formatting and document standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and non-legal personnel to meet tight deadlines and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Edit, scan, convert, and format legal documents with precision and efficiency.
  • Coordinate workflow electronically to ensure timely and accurate document production.
  • Provide time estimates for document analysis and production tasks.
  • Assist in formatting large Excel spreadsheets for print and distribution.
  • Support the creation and editing of graphic presentations for various purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members to cover shifts and ensure operational continuity.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with a focus on relevant skills.
  • Three to five years of experience in a word processing center environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite 2010, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems resourcefully.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across various platforms.
