Overview
- Provide exceptional nursing care in an OB/GYN setting, ensuring patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
- Lead and manage clinical staff, promoting professionalism and effective teamwork.
- Coordinate patient flow and advocate for front and back office staff needs.
- Utilize advanced software systems for patient documentation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, conducting regular reviews and updates.
- Support OB patients with scheduling, referrals, and necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with practitioners to facilitate efficient patient care and resolve issues.
- Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Document OB problem calls and communicate mammogram results to patients.
- Manage clinical staff schedules, reviews, and training programs.
- Facilitate patient flow and address bottlenecks during peak times.
- Generate and analyze reports using PrimeSuite/Greenway software.
- Assist with OB triage, NST readings, and minor procedures.
- Coordinate inductions and pre-operative follow-ups for OB patients.
- Resolve lab billing issues and maintain supply inventory.
- Delegate and oversee disability and FMLA paperwork for patients.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred.
- Previous OB/GYN experience and leadership skills are essential.
- Proficiency in PrimeSuite/Greenway software for documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
- Ability to provide on-call coverage after hours.
