Overview

  • Lead civil/site engineering initiatives, managing projects from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and manage civil engineering projects including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.
  • Prepare detailed construction documents, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and quality assurance.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software for project design and analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
  • Engage in permitting and regulatory submissions to ensure project compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required; PE license preferred or in progress.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil/site design; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering design software.
  • Strong knowledge of local codes, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Experience with public works or municipal projects is advantageous.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff effectively.
