Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Perform equipment sizing, selection, and load calculations to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
- Draft and edit technical specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Utilize software tools like AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed designs and documentation for HVAC systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with 7-10 years of relevant experience in HVAC design and implementation.
- Proficiency in HVAC equipment sizing, selection, and load calculations using tools like Trane Trace and Carrier HAPS.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards, including IMC and NFPA.
- Experience with chilled water plants, boilers, and combined heating and cooling systems.
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit for mechanical design and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively.
- Self-motivated with a passion for engineering design and mentoring others within a team environment.
