Overview

  • Support trade lifecycle management in a dynamic financial setting, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address trade-related queries and discrepancies effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage accurate trade capture across derivatives and other financial products, ensuring precision.
  • Monitor risk and position management platforms, resolving discrepancies proactively.
  • Ensure trades are correctly booked, affirmed, and reflected in risk systems.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams for trade allocation and settlement.
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes using automation and technology advancements.
  • Maintain ownership of the trade lifecycle, ensuring operational controls at each stage.
  • Design and implement process improvements for a scalable operating model.
  • Ensure P&L accuracy, including intraday flash and T+1 valuation sign-off.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a financial services environment; 3 years preferred.
  • Working knowledge of at least one asset class; derivatives experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal are essential.
  • Interest in coding, preferably Python, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Understanding of the full trade lifecycle and associated operational controls.
  • Knowledge of corporate actions is desirable but not mandatory.
