Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage accurate trade capture across derivatives and other financial products, ensuring precision.
- Monitor risk and position management platforms, resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Ensure trades are correctly booked, affirmed, and reflected in risk systems.
- Collaborate with Sales, Trading, and Operations teams for trade allocation and settlement.
- Evaluate and improve existing processes using automation and technology advancements.
- Maintain ownership of the trade lifecycle, ensuring operational controls at each stage.
- Design and implement process improvements for a scalable operating model.
- Ensure P&L accuracy, including intraday flash and T+1 valuation sign-off.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a financial services environment; 3 years preferred.
- Working knowledge of at least one asset class; derivatives experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal are essential.
- Interest in coding, preferably Python, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
- Understanding of the full trade lifecycle and associated operational controls.
- Knowledge of corporate actions is desirable but not mandatory.
