Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment breakdowns.
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate cost projections and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project scope and objectives.
  • Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and ensure accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimation; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in cost analysis and budget preparation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in commercial construction estimation.
