Overview
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced endpoint computing systems using Microsoft Cloud technologies.
- Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across diverse endpoint devices.
- Develop and execute efficient application deployment strategies leveraging Intune and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and enhance security measures.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and support teams.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in endpoint management practices.
- Optimize operational processes through scripting and advanced automation techniques.
- Ensure endpoint systems meet stringent security and audit standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage the full lifecycle of application deployment, including packaging, testing, and monitoring.
- Implement phased deployment strategies using pilot rings and requirement rules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Design and configure Windows Autopilot for optimized device management.
- Create dashboards to monitor deployment success and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training to support teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in endpoint or desktop engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for application packaging and deployment.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Win32 app deployment and detection logic.
- Solid understanding of Windows internals relevant to deployment processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams.
- Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Defender is preferred.
