Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor staff performance and quality of procedures.
- Implement changes to support organizational goals and resource utilization.
- Evaluate departmental functions and patient service delivery.
- Ensure services meet age-specific patient needs.
- Participate in quality improvement processes and regulatory compliance.
- Guide staff adherence to professional standards and practices.
- Provide nursing assessments and individualized care plans.
- Document patient care according to policy.
- Act as a resource for education and information in area of expertise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum five years of cumulative GI experience.
- One year supervisory experience in relevant area.
- Current licensure with California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and delegate effectively.
- Certified Gastrointestinal Registered Nurse (CGRN) preferred.
- Membership in professional organizations and conference attendance desired.
