Overview

  • Provide expert nursing care in a vascular operating room, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing critical thinking and nursing expertise.
  • Provide direct nursing care during vascular surgeries, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Ensure sterile techniques and proper equipment handling during surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and manage IV lines, following established healthcare standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience; vascular or endovascular experience preferred.
  • Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Proficiency in aseptic techniques, patient positioning, and pharmacological administration.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to interpret and apply healthcare policies, procedures, and standards.
