Job Description

Overview

  • Support accounting and treasury operations for a complex multi-entity investment platform.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Develop expertise across private equity, hedge funds, and public market strategies.
  • Contribute to mission-aligned investing with a focus on financial discipline.
  • Utilize advanced Excel workflows and accounting systems for operational efficiency.
  • Enhance processes and systems to improve team performance and accuracy.
  • Work in a hybrid setting combining in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process wire activity, capital calls, subscriptions, distributions, and trading-related payments.
  • Monitor due dates and funding requirements for timely cash movements.
  • Record and reconcile daily and monthly cash and bank activity.
  • Review invoices for proper allocation and prepare for payment processing.
  • Prepare month-end close deliverables and related analysis.
  • Assist with audit and tax deliverables, including schedules and workpapers.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tools for streamlined workflows.
  • Partner with Operations, Tax, and Investments teams for data integrity.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives for enhanced team efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with private equity, hedge funds, and investment structures.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems essential.
  • Strong organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with tax concepts relevant to investment entities is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Interest in process improvement and systems thinking.
  • Experience with Investran or similar fund accounting platforms preferred.
