Overview
- Lead financial operations for a dynamic private equity firm with $4.1 billion AUM.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate fund accounting and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and scalability in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Oversee treasury activities, including cash monitoring, bank reconciliations, and credit facility management.
- Support investment team operations, including deal funding and portfolio monitoring.
- Prepare and review investor reports, performance metrics, and capital account statements.
- Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and compliance filings with external advisors.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and financial analysis to support firm growth.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage fund accounting processes, including journal entries, general ledger reporting, and quarter-end close.
- Coordinate with fund administrators to ensure financial records' accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash management and credit facility compliance.
- Support investment team in deal funding, portfolio monitoring, and co-investment transactions.
- Prepare and review quarterly investor reports and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Collaborate on financial analysis, fund performance metrics, and scenario modeling.
- Coordinate annual audit processes and tax reporting with external advisors.
- Enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to support operational scalability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in private equity fund accounting or financial services assurance.
- Proficiency with fund accounting systems like Investran, Geneva, or Allvue.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and waterfall calculations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and partnership accounting principles.
- Experience managing audits, tax reporting, and compliance filings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
