Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial operations for a dynamic private equity firm with $4.1 billion AUM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate fund accounting and reporting.
  • Drive process improvements and scalability in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Oversee treasury activities, including cash monitoring, bank reconciliations, and credit facility management.
  • Support investment team operations, including deal funding and portfolio monitoring.
  • Prepare and review investor reports, performance metrics, and capital account statements.
  • Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and compliance filings with external advisors.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and financial analysis to support firm growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund accounting processes, including journal entries, general ledger reporting, and quarter-end close.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators to ensure financial records' accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash management and credit facility compliance.
  • Support investment team in deal funding, portfolio monitoring, and co-investment transactions.
  • Prepare and review quarterly investor reports and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Collaborate on financial analysis, fund performance metrics, and scenario modeling.
  • Coordinate annual audit processes and tax reporting with external advisors.
  • Enhance internal controls and accounting procedures to support operational scalability.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in private equity fund accounting or financial services assurance.
  • Proficiency with fund accounting systems like Investran, Geneva, or Allvue.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and waterfall calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and partnership accounting principles.
  • Experience managing audits, tax reporting, and compliance filings.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on process improvement and scalability.
