Overview

  • Provide specialized accounting services for private equity and hedge fund portfolios, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance financial reporting standards effectively.
  • Utilize advanced accounting tools to optimize operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to audits, tax processes, and regulatory compliance through detailed financial documentation and analysis.
  • Develop expertise in accounting software and tools to drive performance improvements and operational excellence.
  • Ensure timely execution of capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs and contribute to impactful accounting projects within the organization.
  • Support the client’s financial operations by maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency consistently.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage capital calls and distributions for investment portfolios, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all transactions.
  • Prepare month-end close work papers and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and transparency.
  • Track and record monthly valuations for hedge fund investments with consistency and reliability.
  • Initiate and process wire transfers, ensuring proper documentation and verification for all transactions.
  • Reconcile trading activities and review settlements for accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting year-end audits effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with teams to address technical accounting details and improve processes proactively.
  • Handle ad hoc requests and projects with professionalism and adaptability to meet organizational needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA qualification preferred for advanced roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with private equity or hedge funds is required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Investran is advantageous for this position.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet timely deliverables effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively across teams and organizational levels.
  • Detailed analytical skills and aptitude for process improvement initiatives are essential.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, hybrid work environment with adaptability and flexibility.
