Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage capital calls and distributions for investment portfolios, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all transactions.
- Prepare month-end close work papers and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and transparency.
- Track and record monthly valuations for hedge fund investments with consistency and reliability.
- Initiate and process wire transfers, ensuring proper documentation and verification for all transactions.
- Reconcile trading activities and review settlements for accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting year-end audits effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with teams to address technical accounting details and improve processes proactively.
- Handle ad hoc requests and projects with professionalism and adaptability to meet organizational needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA qualification preferred for advanced roles.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with private equity or hedge funds is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Investran is advantageous for this position.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to meet timely deliverables effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively across teams and organizational levels.
- Detailed analytical skills and aptitude for process improvement initiatives are essential.
