- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and service delivery within the health center.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control protocols.

- Maintain clinical inventory, oversee diagnostic procedures, and support providers in patient care.
- Conduct staff evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions to ensure a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage daily operations of the call center, ensuring efficient patient flow and service delivery.
- Provide nursing care and health education to patients, addressing their specific needs.
- Assist providers with diagnostic procedures, treatments, and referrals as required.
- Monitor and maintain clinical inventory, ensuring availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement quality improvement programs to enhance patient care and team performance.
- Ensure staff compliance with infection control mandates and regulatory standards.
- Conduct leadership and nursing meetings, documenting outcomes and action plans.
- Evaluate and address staff performance, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve health center goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing acceptable.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 5 years preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State with current BCLS certification.
- Proven ability in venipuncture, medication administration, and telephone triage.
- Experience in ambulatory, medical surgery, or emergency room settings preferred.
- Strong organizational, clinical, and interpersonal skills with critical thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage nursing staff effectively.
