Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of construction projects.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of construction activities and resources.
  • Support project management in tracking progress and resolving challenges.
  • Maintain effective communication with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of ambition, communication, and resourcefulness within the team.
  • Participate in on-site activities to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance professional skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate with project managers to support construction project execution and management.
  • Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors and vendors to address project needs.
  • Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management.
  • Assist in resource planning and allocation to optimize project efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and address concerns.
  • Contribute to problem-solving efforts by applying resourcefulness and technical knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or project engineering.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in construction project management or related roles.
  • Proficiency in reading submittals, RFIs, and change orders is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Ground-up construction experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on-site and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities in construction settings.
