Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects for a growing organization with a strong company culture.
  • Ensure project completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and preconstruction teams.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
  • Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure safety compliance.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth and success through effective leadership.
  • Work on commercial projects ranging from $5M to $10M.
  • Support public and hard bid projects with a focus on quality.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities on-site.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and team members.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Manage resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for project updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor.
  • Preferred 10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record in managing commercial projects ranging from $5M to $10M.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site five days a week.
  • Knowledge of public and hard bid project processes.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in construction.
