Overview
- Lead compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local banking regulations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and programs aligned with regulatory standards.

- Provide training resources to enhance staff understanding of compliance requirements.
- Oversee internal audits and regulatory examinations, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Support operational and lending compliance efforts across the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking laws and regulations to inform compliance strategies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage the Compliance Department to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and policies.
- Implement and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate responses to regulatory audits and examinations, addressing identified deficiencies.
- Communicate regulatory updates and implications to staff and senior management.
- Provide training resources to enforce compliance with laws and regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to compliance staff.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, with 15 years preferred.
- Executive-level experience in managing compliance programs and teams.
- Thorough knowledge of banking regulations and compliance program elements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills for regulatory documents and legal texts.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaboration.
- Ability to manage audits and examinations with attention to detail and accuracy.
