Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Ensure accurate and timely trade settlements for fixed income securities and related instruments.
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash and positions, addressing discrepancies effectively and promptly.
- Track and allocate fund expenses across multiple entities and strategies, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with fund administrators to support NAV preparation and review processes.
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reporting and investor deliverables.
- Investigate and resolve settlement breaks, failed trades, and counterparty discrepancies efficiently.
- Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and propose automation solutions to enhance workflows.
- Support workflow improvements to enhance operational accuracy and efficiency within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- 1–2 years of experience in middle office, settlements, or operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or Geneva is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Knowledge of structured credit or private lending is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment effectively.
