Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Accurately apply lockbox deposits, checks, credit cards, wire transfers, and ACH payments to invoices listed on customer remittances.
- Process credit memos and handle heavy cash applications within established timelines.
- Load deposits and manipulate data for account management purposes.
- Manually post or upload payments using intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Perform daily and month-end cash reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Assist with special projects and compile financial reports as needed.
- Maintain strict attention to detail and accuracy in all financial processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree required, preferably in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of cash application experience; 4 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Windows-based products is essential.
- Experience with Infor Lawson or Workday Financial Management is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to research and correct discrepancies.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform under strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.
