Wealth Advisory Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide tailored investment advice to clients, addressing asset allocation and market dynamics inquiries.
- Prepare detailed balance sheets and performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct research on investment products and topics to assess suitability and inform decision-making.
- Document investment counseling meetings and activities to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate implementation of investment proposals with external providers as required.
- Prepare materials for pension plan investment board meetings and client communications.
- Facilitate transactions in proprietary investment products and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage proactively with clients, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in financial matters.
Wealth Advisory Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline from a leading university.
- 1-2 years of experience in investment consulting or wealth management roles.
- Strong knowledge of investments, asset allocation, and portfolio construction strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Integrity and maturity in handling confidential financial matters with direct client interaction.
- CFA, CAIA, or CFP designation preferred; willingness to pursue certifications encouraged.
