Human Resources Business Partner Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide leadership coaching and guidance on performance improvement plans and employee relations.
  • Influence organizational leaders to navigate change and overcome resistance effectively.
  • Analyze and present people data to inform strategic HR decisions and initiatives.
  • Draft professional communications, including manager guidance and employee-facing materials.
  • Plan and execute HR projects, ensuring successful implementation and measurable outcomes.

Human Resources Business Partner Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including HRBP roles with leadership coaching and complex employee relations.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
  • Advanced technical capability in HR business partnering, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as ADP, Workday, Oracle Cloud, or PeopleSoft.
  • Strong data fluency, including analysis, interpretation, and presentation of people data.
  • Proven project management skills to plan and execute HR initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting detailed and professional materials.
