Physician Overview
- The Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient population, ensuring high-quality treatment and preventive care.
- Deliver evidence-based medical services, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.

Physician Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions for adult patients.
- Advise patients on treatment plans, lifestyle changes, and preventive screenings.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decision-making.
- Prescribe treatments and medications within the scope of licensure and evidence-based practices.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate care effectively.
- Engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
- Maintain updated licensure, certifications, and compliance with medical standards.
- Participate in shared on-call duties, including nights and weekends.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
Physician Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in internal or family medicine.
- Completion of an accredited residency training program.
- Active and valid New York State medical license and DEA certification.
- Proficiency in Spanish or a Southeast Asian language is preferred.
- Experience in primary HIV medical care and LGBTQI care is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Updated certifications in BLS and infection control.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
