Receptionist Overview

  • The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • This temporary role spans six months, requiring full-time onsite presence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • The position involves interaction with all levels of staff and external clients, demanding excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will manage a high volume of phone calls, ensuring accurate message delivery and efficient call routing.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining the conference center, coordinating catering, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Receptionist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Answer and manage all incoming calls, ensuring accurate message taking and call transfers.
  • Greet and assist visitors, coordinating their needs during their stay.
  • Oversee conference center operations, including pantry and guest lounge maintenance.
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and events, ensuring timely and quality service.
  • Provide administrative support, including travel coordination, expense reporting, and calendar management.
  • Maintain and update procedure manuals and contact databases.
  • Assist with special events and ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
  • Support the facilities team with daily operations, including restocking and preparing refreshments.

Receptionist Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with 2-4 years of relevant experience in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); Salesforce and Concur experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
