Licensed Clinical Social Worker Overview

• The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide clinical supervision and direct mental health services to clients of all ages.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and administer mental health services in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including supportive counseling, group work, and crisis intervention services.
• Provide clinical leadership during evening and weekend hours, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Supervise and train clinicians and social work interns, fostering professional development and adherence to standards.
• Manage an active caseload, providing comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and discharge coordination.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to enhance service delivery and compliance.
• Engage in advocacy efforts and maintain compliance with HIPAA and corporate guidelines.
• Utilize electronic medical records and other software tools to document and track patient care effectively.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff and interns, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Deliver direct mental health services, including assessments, individual sessions, and crisis interventions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Conduct in-service training on regulatory changes and clinical protocols.
• Participate in peer reviews, quality improvement committees, and case conferences.
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis to address urgent patient needs.
• Support and participate in advocacy initiatives to promote mental health awareness and services.
• Maintain and track program metrics, including admissions, discharges, and treatment outcomes.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Job Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work with LCSW/LCSW-R certification required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with expertise in mental health services.
• Proficiency in evidence-based interventions and familiarity with OMH/Article 31 standards preferred.
• Strong organizational, writing, and public speaking skills essential.
• Proficiency in Spanish and SIFI certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic medical records required.
• Availability for evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and corporate guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage acute and chronic mental health conditions effectively.
