Recruiting Coordinator Overview

  • The Recruiting Coordinator will support the Talent Acquisition team by managing candidate communications, interview scheduling, and onboarding processes.
  • This is a contract role with a duration of 3-6 months, with potential for extension or permanent placement.
  • The position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote and on-site work for flexibility.
  • You will work closely with hiring managers, HR, and candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment experience.
  • The role involves utilizing Workday and HireRight systems for background checks and data management.

Recruiting Coordinator Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring minimal disruptions and effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Develop and send timely, well-written communications to candidates regarding process updates and next steps.
  • Manage onboarding processes, including background checks, drug tests, and license verifications.
  • Utilize Workday for data entry and administration, including requisition management and candidate tracking.
  • Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to support hiring events and recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all recruitment and onboarding policies and procedures.
  • Monitor candidate progress throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and process improvements for recruitment operations.

Recruiting Coordinator Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in high-volume scheduling or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Workday, HireRight, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a professional setting.
  • Basic understanding of recruiting and HR concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in a hybrid work environment is a plus.
