Director of Finance Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Select, develop, and maintain a high-performing accounting team to support financial operations.
• Oversee all accounting disciplines, ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and organizational standards.
• Negotiate and manage property contracts and agreements to align with financial goals.
• Prepare and present financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and accurate projections.
• Implement and oversee accounting audits to ensure data accuracy and procedural compliance.
• Provide operational analysis to property leadership for informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Director of Finance Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a preference for 7 years.
• Proven experience in leading financial operations within a hospitality or service-oriented environment is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and provide strategic financial insights.
