Human Resources Manager Overview

  • The Human Resources Manager will oversee core HR services, including strategic planning, staffing, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive key initiatives like leadership development, workforce planning, and talent acquisition.
  • Provide coaching and advisory services to employees and management to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Ensure alignment of HR policies and practices with industry trends and organizational goals.
  • Support employee engagement programs and initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with the Training and Development team to identify and coordinate training needs for employee growth.
  • Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team to maintain competitive and equitable structures.
  • Contribute to organizational success by addressing employee relations and performance issues effectively.

Human Resources Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business needs.
  • Lead initiatives in talent management, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance HR program effectiveness and alignment.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements to policies and practices.

Human Resources Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with 9 years preferred, including management roles.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, policies, and best practices, with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in organizational development, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus.
