Staff Accountant Overview

  • The Staff Accountant will manage essential accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with organizational standards.
  • This role requires full-time onsite work, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Candidates must hold a U.S.-based Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and possess a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • A minimum of three years of corporate accounting experience is necessary for this position.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis, is essential.
  • The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) match.
  • Located onsite in North Wales, PA, candidates must reside within a 45-minute commute.

Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Analyze financial data and generate reports for management review.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions as required.
  • Assist with audits, bank requests, and financial documentation preparation.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on special projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and fiscal year-end preparation processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Staff Accountant Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a U.S.-based institution with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Minimum of three years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for financial data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
